On Thursday, 25 April 2024, we gathered to remember the legacy of the ANZACs.
Council would like to acknowledge the RSL Mareeba, Kuranda, and Mt Molloy Sub Branches, and residents from Chillagoe, Dimbulah and Watsonville for their efforts in organising Anzac Day ceremonies.
We would also like to thank the community for joining the parades across the Shire.
In 2015, Council documented our Shire’s rich Anzac History through the ‘Mapping our Anzac History’ project.
