Council is undertaking planned water main upgrade works on the Eastern side of the Mulligan Highway, Mareeba. Works will commence north of Mary Andrews Park and proceed through to Debel Close, Mareeba on Monday 25 October 2021 from 7:00am to 4:00pm Friday 28 January 2022, weather permitting.
The planned improvement work is required to replace the ageing water infrastructure to secure a reliable water supply to residents.
During this period residents will experience periods of low water pressure and interruptions to water supply.
Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and adhere to traffic control while construction is in progress. Your patience and cooperation will be appreciated.
