Last month, Mareeba Shire Council invited the community to share their favourite recipes as part of the Shared Table Cookbook, celebrating the Local Government Association of Queensland’s 130th anniversary.
From treasured family favourites passed down through generations to dishes inspired by the fresh ingredients grown right here on the Tablelands, each recipe tells a unique story of the people and cultures that call Mareeba Shire home.
