Mareeba Shire Council Fire Management crew will be conducting a Hazard Reduction Burns on Tuesday and Wednesday 29-30 July 2025 around the Mareeba Sewage Treatment Plant, starting from 12pm.
Please be aware of possible smoke in the area during this time. Hazard reduction burns are carried out to reduce fuel loads and help protect the community during the fire season.
