Kuranda’s visitor experience is set to be enhanced with the launch of the fresh and vibrant Tourism Kuranda website.
Chair of the Tourism Kuranda Advisory Committee, Cr Lenore Wyatt said it was exciting to see the project delivered just in time for the peak tourist season. “Mareeba Shire Council has been developing this new website for many months with the key focus of making it easier for visitors to plan their visit to Kuranda,” Cr Wyatt said.
“We are really excited about the launch of the new website which showcases the Village in the Rainforest and all it has to offer.”
The new website is fully mobile compatible with enhanced search optimisation.
Tourism Kuranda Executive Officer Kahlia Pepper said a fresh new layout, together with updated content and easy navigation are just some of the improvements that have been to the site. “Useful information is combined with ideas for great places to shop, eat, drink, explore and relax,” she said.
“Through a combination of new features, Tourism Kuranda aims to not only grow visitor numbers to the site, but to position ourselves as the leading online site for Kuranda visitor information.”
