The upgrade to the Mareeba rail trail has been completed and it is wonderful to see many people enjoying the new surface.
Deputy Mayor, Councillor Kevin Davies hit the trail with some familiar local faces to find out what they think.
This project was completed as part of Council’s 3-year Action Plan for Parks & Open Spaces.
The planned projects represent a record spend on parks and open spaces, all at no extra cost to ratepayers.
