Community Update: Chillagoe TV & Radio
Council would like to advise Chillagoe residents that the end date for digital television and radio transmission has been extended to 28 February 2018.
We anticipate that this extension from the end of January 2018 has allowed all residents, who wish to receive television and radio transmission, to switch to the VAST satellite network.
Applications for Council Assistance – VAST Satellite TV Equipment
Under the assistance package, Council funded the purchase and installation of VAST equipment for 25 residents and this cost was met by Council’s general operating budget as there were insufficient funds in the Chillagoe Benefitted Area Levy to cover this.
