The Mareeba Library is hosting a free parent workshop on Tuesday 17 September at 10.30am in conjunction with Reading Hour.
Presented by Jessica Williams at VPG, the workshop explores the Abecedarian Approach which was developed by Professor Joseph Sparling and is a set of learning and teaching tools with an emphasis on language – a simple, but deep – purposeful use of language.
Morning tea is included and toys and puzzles will be provided for the children.
