Regional Arts Development Fund

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Mareeba Shire Council to support local arts, culture and heritage as key drivers of diverse and inclusive communities and strong regions.

The RADF 2020-21 Community Grant Round will open for applications on Tuesday 5 January 2021 for projects to be conducted between May 2021 and April 2022.  Individuals, not for profit groups and associations, and arts and cultural companies within the Mareeba Shire Council area will be invited to apply for funding for arts, cultural or heritage projects that meet the RADF objectives to build local cultural capacity, cultural innovation and community pride.  The local priorities for RADF 2020-21 are: cultural tourism, youth arts engagement and public mural partnerships.   Applicants may apply for RADF grants of less than $10,000 and must show other sources of project income.
