Mareeba Shire Council has developed a draft Land management Plan for Reserve for Park – R26588 being Lot 203 on CPNR3004, situated at Myola Road, Kuranda.
The Land Management Plan describes the existing use and infrastructure located on the Reserve and set out the Council’s intentions, as Trustee of the Reserve, with respect to management of the land according to its gazetted use and in accordance with the provisions of the Mareeba Shire Planning Scheme.
The Land Management Plan provides for the continued activity on part of the Reserve being a Rural Fire Brigade.
The draft plan is open for public comment for a period of 28 days. A copy of the document is also available for viewing at the Mareeba and Kuranda Libraries. Submissions in relation to the draft plan will close at 5.00PM on Thursday 11 June 2026 and should be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Mareeba Shire Council, PO BOX 154 Mareeba Queensland 4880.
