Mareeba Shire Tourism is the designated local tourism organisation (LTO) for the Mareeba Shire. The role of Mareeba Shire Tourism is to promote the visitor experiences of Mareeba Shire through industry strategic partnerships, collaboration, capacity building and advocacy.

- Building the capacity of tourism operators to develop sustainable and successful products.
- Increased visitor length of stay, spend and dispersal.
