Kuranda Easter in the Park

Apr 20, 2019

Easter egg hunt returns to Kuranda!

The Easter Bunny will arrive, and THOUSANDS of eggs are waiting for you to find them at this year’s Easter in the Park celebration! Bring the kids and friends up on Saturday April 20 at Centenary Park in Kuranda for a great day for the family! Included in the free family fun are 5 face painters, 3 jumping castles, horse and carriage rides, street performers, kids’ games and fun arts and crafts activities for the kids. Live! HitFM Outside Broadcast.

Hosted by the Mareeba Shire Council, it is the 10th anniversary of Easter in the Park so we are bringing back the traditional Easter egg hunt with thousands of chocolate eggs hidden around the Kuranda Heritage Markets.

The kids can learn circus skills at a workshop, watch candy making and join in the egg and spoon race. Kuranda’s Mayi-Wunba dancers, will give a free performance and Kuranda Conservation, Kuranda Envirocare and Kuranda Arts Co-operative will be among the stalls at Centenary Park.

Kuranda Easter in the Park is from 10am to 3pm on Saturday April 20 at Centenary Park in Kuranda.
