By February 18, 2026No Comments

Ready to transform everyday household waste into rich, productive compost?

The hands-on composting workshops give participants the skills and confidence to divert food scraps, garden organics, paper and cardboard away from landfill—and turn them into a high‑quality compost that supports:

  • Home food production for better health and food security
  • Local and state waste‑reduction targets
  • Lower greenhouse gas emissions from municipal waste streams

The workshops break composting down into simple, achievable steps that work for every household. Participants learn a range of organic waste‑processing methods—including cold composting and worm farming—so they can choose the system that suits their home, lifestyle and space.
