Mareeba Local Disaster Management Group advises people in the Mareeba Shire Local Government Area that the Stay Informed notice for severe weather including heavy rainfall and strong winds has been cancelled.
The Bureau of Meteorology has cancelled severe warnings for heavy rainfall and strong winds for the Mareeba Shire LGA as of 11.38am Saturday, 10 January 2026 as the tropical low system 12U tracks further south from our region.
