Improvement works will be carried out over the next few weeks to the amenities building in Centenary Park, Kuranda.
Please see below for details on what to expect:
- The amenities block will be fully fenced off with temporary fencing, with designated access points to the toilets.
- Overhead screens will be installed at entry points for your protection.
- No shutdowns are planned during these works.
- To maintain privacy, windows above the toilets will be temporarily covered while roof works are underway.
- Half of both the male and female toilets will remain open during internal works, with temporary panels in place to separate work areas and ensure facilities remain functional.
Schedule of Works (weather permitting)
- 3rd – 7th November Set up fencing and edge protection, pressure clean roof and internal areas
- 10th – 28th November Exterior painting, replacement of roof sheets and guttering, window replacement
- 1st – 12th December Internal painting, installation of new stainless-steel basins and plumbing upgrades
