Mareeba Shire Council is looking for a suitably qualified person to join our Water & Waste Team as the Supervisor Treatment Plant Operations. In this position the successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient operation of Council Wastewater Treatment and Water Treatment Plants. The position is responsible for ensuring these facilities meet the requirements of the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP), the Department of Energy and Water Supply (DEWS) and other relevant legislation and comply with Council policies and procedures in line with the expectations of the community.
The position also has oversight of and provides support for the Water & Waste SCADA and Telemetry network throughout the Shire.

- Permanent, full time position
- Wage LGOA Level 5 (commencing at $77,842.69 per annum)
- Additional Industry Allowance of $55.50 per fortnight and other award allowances as applicable
- Up to 12% superannuation
- Nine (9) day fortnight
